Tiny, green, with five tepals, in relatively well-separated clusters along the upper portion of the leafy stems. Female flowers are subtended by a pair of diamond-shaped bracteloles
Leaves:
Narrow, ovate, fleshy, light green, with a sparse mealy coating. On hairless, grooved stems which tend to turn red in late summer
