Dense, flat-topped clusters of small flowerheads, attached by hairy pedicels. Flowerheads have between five and eight white (less often pink) ray florets around a centre of 10 to 20 yellowish-white disc florets. The involucre is lined by several rows of overlapping, oval-shaped phyllaries, with darker edges
Leaves:
Up to 15 cm long; finely divided two or three times into small, linear segments, with a downy hair covering
