Open, branched clusters of a small number of large, yellow flowerheads, up to 5 cm in diameter. The bell-shaped involucres are lined with dark green phyllaries, which covered with white hairs topped by yellow glands, as are the pedicels. Stems are hairless
Leaves:
Hairless, shiny, pinnately lobed, with toothed margins and a prominent, whitish midvein. Stem leaves are clasping, extending backwards at the base
