Flowers:
Small; only 3 mm in diameter, with a blue (occasionally white) corolla, pale yellow at the centre, and a longer, dark green calyx, divided nearly to the base into five narrow, triangular lobes, spreading at the fruiting stage. When mature, the flowers are held a little way above the leafy stem, which has mostly appressed hairs towards the top, and spreading hairs near the base

Ovate, along the stem and in a rosette at the base, with spreading hairs along the margins
