Flowers:
The corolla is pale blue, with five spreading lobes, and tiny yellow appendages at the base, formed in arched clusters at the top of the slender stems, the upper half of which are evenly covered by short, appressed hairs. The upper third of the green calyx is divided into five triangular lobes. Flowers are attached by stalks that are longer than the calyx. Stems have spreading hairs towards the base
Leaves:
Oblong, stalkless, with a prominent midvein and a pair of fainter side veins. Covered by appressed hairs
