Yellowish-green, with a relatively narrow banner petal, upturned at about 45 degrees, and greenish calyces, sometimes tinged reddish-pink. Calyces are divided about half way into narrow, equally-sized teeth. Flowers may not open fully. Flowers are held in a dense, terminal cluster, a little way above the leaves

Curving, greenish pods, pointed at the tip
Leaves:
Hairless, pinnately divided into elliptical leaflets up to 4 cm long, with stipules at the base of the petiole. On stout, hairless stems which have a zig-zag growth pattern
