Strongly wrinkled pods, up to 3 cm long, eventually separating into horseshoe-shaped sections
Leaves:
Pinnate, hairless, with a terminal leaflet and four to five pairs of lateral leaflets; all are oblong, and similar in size. At the base are a pair of pointed stipules
