Flowers:
Petals are pale pink, often nearly white, and up to 15 mm long. Calyces, green with reddish veins, have a covering of soft hairs, and are divided into narrow, upwards-pointing teeth. Flower clusters are subtended by thin bracts, marked with thick red veins
Leaves:
Trifoliate; ovate to obovate leaflets, equally sparsely hairy on both surfaces, with faint lateral veins
