Flowers:
Up to 25 mm in diameter; five equal-size white petals, crossed with vertical purple veins, and a much smaller, five-lobed green calyx. At the centre are ten stamens and five pistils, all similar in length. Pedicels may be hairy or hairless
Leaves:
Stalked, sparsely hairy, trifoliate; three obcordate leaflets, often partly folded along their midveins
