Flowers:
Solitary, up to 20 mm in diameter, with five yellow petals and five shorter green sepals, partly recurved; on long, reddish stalks from the leaf nodes
Leaves:
Pinnately divided; a terminal leaflet and up to 12 pairs of lateral leaflets, all lined with large teeth, and covered with downy hairs, sparse above, dense below, giving the surface a silvery appearance. A few smaller leaflets grow between the smaller ones
