Ribbed, green calyces and five whitish green petals (ageing to pink), irregularly pinnately divided into narrow lobes. Flowers are alternately arranged in a vertical cluster at the top of the stem
Leaves:
Approximately round in outline, shallowly palmately divided into irregularly toothed lobes. Covered by a few bristly hairs and attached by stalks with a denser hair covering. Leaves grow at the base and at widely-spaced intervals along the lower stem
