Flowers:
The corolla is cup-shaped, up to 3 cm across, cream-coloured, with five rounded lobes (slightly unequal in shape), crossed by a net of prominent, purple veins. The base of the corolla (inside) is more uniformly purple. The stamens have white filaments and large purple anthers. The outside of the corolla is glandular-hairy, as are the calyces, pedicels and stems
