Five pale yellow petals, lacking marginal dots, and five ovate sepals with stalked black glands along the edges. Flowers form in leafless clusters at the top of the stem, which is hairless, round in cross-section, and lacks wings
Leaves:
Opposite, lanceolate, relatively long (up to 5 cm), hairless above, hairy below, lacking translucent dots but with black dots along the margins
