Flowers:
Small (up to 4 mm in diameter), with four blue petals, purplish at the base, one petal narrower than the others. Flowers form in small numbers at the tip of the stem (not from the leaf nodes), and are subtended by closely-spaced, leaf-like bracts, which are longer than the petals
Leaves:
Ovate to triangular, around 10 mm long, lined by think hairs, entire at the top of the stem and coarsely-toothed below, but not lobed
