Up to 25 mm across; five ovate petals, rounded at the tip, yellow at the base otherwise pure white, and a ring of short stamens around a group of greenish carpels
Leaves:
Thread-like submerged leaves, quite well spaced (intervals are longer than the leaves), and broad floating leaves, divided into three lobes, each partially divided once or twice. Occasionally the floating leaves are absent
